Not a bad view from the top of the Citadel - took this phot when we came here on holiday 4 years ago but it is still one of the best of the city that i have managed so far

After much consideration about the opportunities and potential challenges, I have been offered a place on the Clipper Ventures Round the World race, Leg 2 - Rio to Cape Town. I don't, currently know how to sail, I don't know if I get seasick and I am not sure how 21 days on a pitching yacht, 2000 miles away from land will affect me but this blog will chart the progress!
